During the spring of 2019, the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigation Section received credible information that an individual was distributing heroin throughout the Frederick County area. As a result, the Narcotics Investigation Section initiated a criminal drug distribution investigation. On June 12th, 2019, a detective with the narcotics section obtained information that this individual traveled to Baltimore to purchase heroin. The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office Proactive Criminal Enforcement Team (PACE) was able to conduct a traffic stop on the individual’s vehicle in the Emmitsburg area for expired vehicle registration.…

The Walkersville Middle School’s Drama Department seeks to raise funds for its programs with a fundraiser sponsored by Trout’s Towne Restaurant in Woodsboro. The WMS Drama Department receives a portion of every omelet or dessert sale between now and January 17, 2016. Please mention the Walkersville Middle Drama Department. Trout’s Towne Restaurant is located at 200 North Second Street in Woodsboro, Maryland. They are open seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. Its a great way to support a local business and our local middle school thespians!
