Armed Robbery in Woodsboro
The Frederick County Bureau of Investigation is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Woodsboro Liquors, located on South Main Street in Woodsboro.
On November 5, 2015 at approximately 6:20 p.m., the suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the cashier. The suspect fled the area on foot after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect is described as a white male, 20-30 years of age, approximately 5’10”, 170lbs, seen wearing a dark hooded sweat shirt with the hood pulled up, a dark bandana over his face, and blue jeans.
Deputies canvassed the area for the suspect but were not able to locate him. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Detective Willie Ollie at 301-600-3605.
This is at least the second armed robbery of the Woodsboro Liquors this year. In January, the store was robbed.
