Maryland State Police arrested a known gang member on an open warrant and who was also found to be in possession of a firearm Tuesday morning in Frederick County. The suspect, Richard John Haslup, 32, of Thurmont, Maryland was arrested on an open violation of probation warrant by troopers from the Maryland State Police Criminal Enforcement Division — Firearms Enforcement Unit.
