Robbery in Woodsboro Investigation Continues
The Frederick County Bureau of Investigation continues to investigate the armed robbery of the Woodsboro Liquor Store. On January 24, 2015 at approximately 9:45 p.m., the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Woodsboro liquor store, located on South Main Street in Woodsboro, for a report of an armed robbery.
Through its investigation, the Frederick County Bureau of Investigation learned the suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the clerk at the cash register. The suspect left the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. Witnesses described the suspect as a white male, approximately 5’10” – 6’00”, thin build, seen wearing mostly black clothing, with a mask concealing his face.
Deputies canvassed the area for the suspect but were not able to locate him. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Detective Lisa Smith at 301-600-4213.
