FCPS Adds Dinner and Locations for Meals While Schools Are Closed

Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17, the 8 schools* at which FCPS was originally serving only breakfast and lunch are adding boxed “Grab N Go” suppers. WHS Drama Boosters Fundraiser at Panera!

Coming off of a great weekend of their fall production, Almost, Maine, Walkersville High School’s Drama Boosters will be raising much needed funds for the Walkersville High School Theatre Department. “We need tools and supplies to build sets, create and acquire costumes, purchase props, and pay for all the lighting and audio equipment in the auditorium,” Jackson Kuster, a senior and stage manager for the Theatre Department, explained. Local Man Publishes Books About Growing Up in Glade Valley and Beyond

Tim Christopher’s parents moved their family from Brooklyn, New York to Glade Valley Farms in 1943, when he was just two years old. Seventy-five years later, he lives a short distance from that farm in Frederick, and self-published his story in 2018. I met Mr. Christopher when he appeared on my front porch in Walkersville.
