The developers of Mill Run, a planned development on West Pennsylvania Avenue in Walkersville, began the early stages of their project last week. Large equipment moved earth and crews blasted large stone. The entrance and future road to the neighborhood of twenty-six new single-family homes became apparent after a short few days. At 2:41 p.m. on March 30, 2016, units from Walkersville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Companies dispatched for a vehicle collision at the intersection of MD Route 194 and West Crum Road. Chief 11-1 arrived on the scene to find a two vehicle collision with one patient still in a car and established command. Chief 11-1 advised Emergency Communications Center that a second patient required a second transport unit.
