FCPS Cancels All Evening Activities After 8 p.m.

Due to weather forecasts, all FCPS after school and evening activities must be concluded by 8:00 PM tonight. If an athletic team is traveling to an away scrimmage, the team must be back at their home school by 8:00 PM. If an athletic team is hosting a banquet, the banquet must conclude by 8:00 PM. Administrators may decide to postpone/cancel events at individual schools. FCPS is carefully monitoring forecasts and conditions.

Frederick County Schools Closed

Frederick County Public Schools are CLOSED Friday, March 6 due to the weather. All offices are open 2 hours late. 12 month employees are scheduled to work; however, the liberal leave policy is in effect. All FCPS afterschool and evening activities are canceled or postponed.
