Police Seeking Spiderman After Armed Robbery
Maryland State Police are asking the public to help identify a man dressed as Spiderman during the armed robbery of the Dollar General store near Libertytown. The robbery took place around 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2015. A white man wearing a Spiderman hoody jacket with a mask entered the store on MD. 26, brandished a handgun, and demanded money. Behavior of Middle School Students at Homecoming Game Prompt New Policies
The Administration at Walkersville High School and Walkersville Middle School shared a very important message regarding the behavior of middle school students at Varsity Football Games this morning. During the Homecoming Game this past Friday night, the school made an announcement at half-time addressing the behavior of the middle school students in attendance. Although the behavior improved slightly after the announcement, incidents still occurred causing the WHS Administration and Law Enforcement to intervene and in some cases have students removed from the game. Police Seek Help Identifying Shooting Suspect
On Saturday, October 17, 2015, at approximately 11:13 p.m., multiple gunshots were fired in the area of Discovery Boulevard and Stauffer Road. At the time, numerous people were leaving a party being held at the Discovery Recreation Center. Investigators are requesting assistance in identifying the individual, shown here, who is believed to have attended the party. Surveillance video footage indicates that this individual discharged shots from a handgun while near the playground area outside the recreation center.
