Police Seeking Spiderman After Armed Robbery
Maryland State Police are asking the public to help identify a man dressed as Spiderman during the armed robbery of the Dollar General store near Libertytown.
The robbery took place around 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2015. A white man wearing a Spiderman hoody jacket with a mask entered the store on MD. 26, brandished a handgun, and demanded money. A store employee gave the suspect money. The Spiderman suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
The Spiderman suspect was last seen heading west on Liberty Road, the news release stated. The suspect is believed to be a white male, approximately 5 foot 10 inches to six feet tall with a thin build.
