On January 17, 2017, at approximately 1:00 P.M., a white male entered the PNC Bank located at 8 E. Main Street in Emmitsburg, MD. The suspect approached the teller, demanded cash and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. No weapon was displayed or mentioned by the suspect. The suspect left in an unknown direction. The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in identifying two suspects who used a stolen debit card in Frederick County, MD on Wednesday, November 10, 2016. The Visa debit card was stolen from an ATM at the Woodsboro Bank in Woodsboro, MD. Thursday morning, a brazen criminal broke into a home on Fulton Avenue in Walkersville. The break-in occurred between 9:00 a.m. and noon, according to the resident’s dog walker who found the damaged door upon returning to walk the pit bull that lives in the home. Discovery Resident Arrested in Frederick with 87 Grams of Heroin

On October 29, 2016, the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division conducted directed patrols in the area of Magnolia Tree Court and Burning Bush Drive in Frederick. The directed patrols were the result of the Sheriff’s Office receiving information pertaining to drug distribution in the area, as well as a shooting that occurred on October 28, 2016.
