Roll-Over On Glade Road
Trooper 3 landed at Glade Elementary School to transport one patient after being extricated from a vehicle. Another patient was transported by ambulance to Frederick Memorial Hospital.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for northwestern Frederick County and the surrounding area until 5 p.m. At 4:08 p.m., radar indicated the line of severe thunderstorms, capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph, near Shepherdstown and heading east at 30 mph.

Walkersville Library Annual Book Sale
The Friends of the Walkersville Library will hold its annual book sale on Saturday, May 16, 2015. An annual tradition during Walkersville Days, funds raised support the library. Hardback books can be purchased for $1; paperback books sell two for $1. Patrons may also fill a bad of books for $5! The sale will be held 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Main Street Closed
Main Street in Walkersville is closed today. Crews are removing the large tree in front of the Methodist Church whose limbs hang over the street. The tree removal process has been on going throughout the day.
