Last Night of Prep for Walkersville Days

Local churches, homeowners, businesses, and organizations are abuzz this evening as they prepare for Walkersville Days! People flock to Walkersville each third Saturday of March to celebrate the small town by shopping yard sales, sampling treats, and seeing all the sights. St. Paul’s Lutheran Church’s Strawberry Festival is a big draw with strawberry shortcake, hotdogs, live bluegrass music, and more. Stop by the Glade Valley Community Services Pit Beef stand in the Red Cross parking lot (corner of Frederick Street and Crum Road)! You will smell the delicious aroma from Pit Master Richter’s smoker all over town! All proceeds benefit the many wonderful programs of Glade Valley Community Services!
