Accident on Liberty Road

Walkersville emergency crews from Company 11 and Company 24 were dispatched to the 9200 block of Liberty Road for a vehicle accident at 1:24 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19 2015. While en-route, Frederick County Emergency Communications Center advised Chief 11-1 that a second ambulance was dispatched due to multiple patients. Chief 11-1 arrived on the scene to find two vehicles had been involved in a rear-end collision. Patients were still in one car. Ambulance 248 arrived on the scene and started patient care. Brush Fire Along Monocacy River

Walkersville Day celebrations were interrupted for the brave volunteers at Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company and Walkersville Volunteer Rescue Company. At 9:52a.m., Frederick County Emergency Communications Center dispatched Engine Tanker 114 (ET114), Brush 116 (B116), and ATV24 to the area of Castle Rock Road and the Monocacy River for a reported brush fire in the woods. ET114 and ATV24 arrived at the residence of the caller on Castle Rock Road who reported smoke coming form the river. The caller directed crews far down a trail. At 6:14 p.m. on May 13, 2015, Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company (Co.11), and Walkersville Volunteer Rescue Company (Co.24) were dispatched to Route 15 and Biggs Ford Road for a vehicle accident. While units were en-route, Frederick County Emergency Communications Center (ECC) dispatched a second ambulance due to nature of call. Emergency Crews Respond to Unknown Odor

Frederick County Emergency Communications Center (ECC) sounded tones at 5:18 p.m. on April 14, 2015 for an unknown odor inside The Learning Bee day care facility on River Run Road in Waterside. While en-route Frederick Emergency Communications Center advised responding units that there were multiple patients, and an EMS Task Force was dispatched. Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company’s Engine 111 (E111) arrived on the scene and began investigating.
