Walkersville Community Mourns Loss and Prays

The Walkersville Community is reeling from a terrible accident yesterday afternoon. Walkersville High School graduates Christian Thomason and Tyler Holland were in the single vehicle accident along with Jared Spangler of Reisterstown. Mr. Thomason did not survive the accident. Maryland State Police report that he was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident. Tyler Holland, one of the two passengers flown to R. Multiple Vehicle Collision on MD 194

At 5:26 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2015, units from Walkersville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Companies were dispatched for a vehicle accident south of Stauffer Road on MD 194. Chief 2 was already on the scene and found a multiple vehicle collision with patients still in their cars, and all cars still in the roadway. C2 established command. Accident at MD 194 and Glade Boulevard

At 8:49 a.m. this Sunday, units from Walkersville Volunteer Resecue and Fire Companies were dispatched for a vehicle accident at MD 194 and Glade Bouulevard. Duty 24 arrived on the scene to find two vehicles involved in a rear-end collision with a patient still in the car, and cars still in the roadway. Vehicle Accident Sends One to Hospital

At 6:14 p.m. on May 13, 2015, Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company (Co.11), and Walkersville Volunteer Rescue Company (Co.24) were dispatched to Route 15 and Biggs Ford Road for a vehicle accident. While units were en-route, Frederick County Emergency Communications Center (ECC) dispatched a second ambulance due to nature of call.
