Motor Vehicle Accident at RT 194 & Antietam Dr
Walkersville Volunteer Rescue Company Reports:
At 19:14 on October 3, 2014, Walkersville’s volunteer rescue and fire companies were dispatched to Rt.194 and Antietam Dr for a vehicle accident. Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company arrived on scene to find two vehicles with one patient still in the vehicle and in the roadway. Ambulance 247 of the Walkersville Volunteer Rescue Company arrived on the scene and started patient care in the first car. Ambulance 249 arrived on scene and started patient care on a second patient that was out of the car. E111 arrived on scene and blocked traffic and began checking the vehicles for leaking fluids and assisted the crews from the ambulance. Two patients were transported to Frederick Memorial Hospital.
