More Blight, Trash and Traffic Discussions

The Walkersville Planning Commission will meet for its monthly public hearing on Tuesday night. Items on the agenda include a second request by Calvary Assembly of God to place a modular building on its property and a continuation of blight, vacancies, and trash in the Town of Walkersville. Last summer, Calvary Assembly of God requested approval to place a 1,410 square foot modular building on their property. Walkersville Planning Commission Workshop on Blight

The Town of Walkersville’s Planning Commission will hold a workshop on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 to discuss issues related to vacant, blighted, neglected and abandoned properties. At their last public hearing, the Planning Commission asked to review two ordinances proposed by the Walkersville Economic Development Commission (EDC) with the town’s attorney, code enforcement officer, and members of the EDC at this month’s workshop.
