Lions Continue Winning Streak with 48-6 Win Over Cougars
The Walkersville Lions celebrated homecoming by continuing their winning streak. The Lions handily defeated the Catoctin Cougars 48 to 6. The Cougars were able to score once in the final moments of the third quarter. The Lions’ lead at the half-time triggered a rule that let the clock run without interruption unless there was a time-out or an injury. In the end, the Cougars could not climb out of the hole.
Fireworks showered Walkersville as entire community celebrated the Lions victory and 6-0 record for the season!
