The Walkersville Lions took down the Oakdale Bears when it mattered most Friday night. After falling to the Bears a few weeks ago, the Lions roared back with a 28-27 win in the first week of playoff games for Maryland’s Class 2A Teams. Their next Playoff game is against Middletown, on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Middletown High School. Game time is 7:00 p.m. All tickets prices are $6.00. Fall Sports Playoff Season has arrived. Three Walkersville High School Teams will begin their playoff games in the coming week. Boys Varsity Soccer team will host Seneca Valley at Home, October 23rd, at 6:30 p.m. Girls Varsity Soccer team will travel to Boonsboro, October 23rd for a 5:00 p.m. game. Field Hockey will travel to Oakdale, October 28th for a 6:00 p.m. game. Good Luck to Lions!
