Friday Night Sports with Walkersville High School
A BIG Congratulations to the Lions’ Boys Soccer Team on their win against Seneca Valley Wednesday night. Their next Playoff game is against Middletown, on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Middletown High School. Game time is 7:00 p.m. All tickets prices are $6.00.
The Lions’ Varsity Football Game Friday night is Senior Night. Gates will open at 5:00pm, with activites starting at 5:30pm.
The Lions, coming off of a 67 – 18 win against the Cadets, will face Oakdale High School. Last week’s win kept Walkersville tied for first place in Frederick County, and in fourth place in Maryland’s Class 2A Teams with a 6-1 record. Oakdale’s record is 4 – 3, which places it in eighth place in Maryland’s 2A.
