Freezing Rain Advisory Issued by NWS – Rain is Falling
The National Weather Services issued a freezing rain advisory this afternoon for the area from 10 p.m. tonight until 1 p.m. Monday, January 12th. The freezing rain began to fall shortly before 9:00 p.m. in Walkersville.
Children around Glade Valley have begun their Snow Dance in hopes of schools being closed for the second time in a week. All around town, children put their pajamas on inside-out and danced around their homes chanting, “snow, snow, snow, snow!”
