Since moving to Walkersville, Mike and Emily's three children were born and attend local public schools. Mike also owns Digital Age Solution, an I.T. firm offering Managed Services, Computer Repairs & Sales, Voice Over IP Telephone Service, Networking, and Software Engineering. Sheetz Expansion Moving Quickly – Car Wash Delivered

It’s hard to miss all of the activity taking place at the Sheetz along Maryland 194 in Walkersville these days. In July of last year, the Walkersville Planning Commission approved plans for a new and larger store with more amenities on the lot. Over the winter, building of the new store has been fast and furious. Today, the car wash delivered on the backs of two trucks. Walkersville Middle Librarian One of 25 Nominees for Maryland School Librarian of the Year

The Maryland Association of School Librarians (MASL) recently announced the 25 nominees for the 2017 Maryland School Librarian of the Year award. Seven are from Frederick County Public Schools. They are: Ann Duncan, Walkersville Middle; Laura Hicks, Frederick High; Emily Nauman, Monocacy Elementary; Brittany Nuse, Valley Elementary; Maria O’Toole, Carroll Manor Elementary; Renate Owen, Oakdale High; and Jennifer Shesman, Thurmont Middle.
