Since moving to Walkersville, Mike and Emily's three children were born and attend local public schools. Mike also owns Digital Age Solution, an I.T. firm offering Managed Services, Computer Repairs & Sales, Voice Over IP Telephone Service, Networking, and Software Engineering. Mike actively participates in the community in various roles including: Walkersville Planning & Zoning Commission Member, Kaleidoscope 4-H Club Leader, Friends of Walkervsille Library, Vice-President, Frederick County 4-H Camp & Activities Center, Inc. Frederick County MD public schools and offices are closed Tuesday, March 14, 2017 due to the weather. All FCPS and community-group afterschool and evening activities are canceled or postponed. School-based daycare programs and Parks and Recreation programs in school gyms make and communicate their own decisions concerning their schedules. Employees: CODE YELLOW. Financial Assistance Available for College Admission Testing

High school students who will be entering their junior or senior year this fall can receive financial assistance to participate in classes that prepare them for college admission testing, such as the SAT or ACT. This opportunity is made possible through The Bob and Pat Gehrke Scholarship Fund for College Prep, one of more than 679 component funds managed by The Community Foundation of Frederick County.
