Walkersville Carnival In Full Swing – Parade Tonight

Local, Award-Winning Country Music from Mike Kuster

The Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company will be hosting a hometown parade tonight beginning at 6:30 p.m. The parade kicks-off the second night of this year’s Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company’s carnival.

Last night saw a nice crowd for the Ride All Night special. One hiccup occurred when a generator went off-line briefly.Rides including the ferris wheel and “Cliff Hanger” lost power with riders on the equipment. Power was quickly restored and no other issues occurred through the night.

Besides the parade, tonight’s carnival events include:

  • City Slickers Band
  • $300 Raffle Drawing
  • All You Can Eat Buffet from 4:30 – 7:00 p.m.: Roast Turkey, Ham & Fried Chicken
