Vehicle Fire on Crum Road
At 5:07 p.m. on July 8, 2015, Walkersville Volunteer Fire and Resuce Companies were dispatched to the 8400 block of Crum Road in Walkersville for a vehicle fire.
Chief 11-1 arrived on the scene to find one car fully involved.
Ambulance 247 arrived on the scene to stage and assisted with patient care.
Engine Tanker 114 arrived on the scene and pulled 1 ¾ line. Crews went to work extinguishing the fire. After the fire was out, the crew realized it the fire resulted from an accident.
Chief 11-1 requested the phone company due to fire near the phone lines.
Patient refused transport. The crews packed up and returned to service.
