SMILE PROGRAM at New Midway

Dental care remains the greatest unmet health need among U.S. children. Over 50% of children have a cavity, which can cause pain leading to missed school. The SMILE Program is scheduled to visit New Midway / Woodsboro Elementary School on April 24, 2015. Enrollment forms were sent home with students on Thursday. The form should be completed and returned the next school day. The New Midway and Woodsboro Elementary Schools hope to fight a common ailment that leads to students missing school.  Dental care remains the greatest unmet health need among children in the United States of America.  In fact, over fifty percent of children have a cavity.  The pain of a cavity distracts from learning and leads to children missing valuable instruction time.
