Carnival Adds “Ride All Night for One Price” Night

The rain kept many away from the first night of Walkersville’s Carnival last night. The rain forced the cancellation of many plans including Independence Day celebrations in Frederick and D.C. By 8:00 p.m., Rosedale Amusements closed the rides at Walkersville’s Carnival. Monday was the first of three planned “Ride All Night for One Price” nights at the Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company’s Carnival. Last Night of the Carnival

After last night’s amazing crowds and fireworks display, volunteers are preparing for the final night of the Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company’s Carnival. The rain held off for last night’s festivities. Overnight and this morning, the area received a healthy dose of rain. All hopes are for a dry afternoon and evening for this last night of fun! Carnival Starts TONIGHT!

Volunteers worked through the rain on Saturday and continued on a beautiful Sunday to prepare for the Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company’s Carnival which opens this afternoon! Tonight, enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet of fried chicken, roast beef, and ham from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the social hall. Kids of all ages will enjoy tonight’s Ride All Night wristband special. Rides open at 6:00 p.m. and run until 10:30 p.m. The Full Effect Band will entertain the crowds all evening! The Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company announced the results of the 2014 Walkersville Carnival Parade.  The results were announced over the grounds late Tuesday night.  So, many participants may have missed the announcement.
