Carnival Adds “Ride All Night for One Price” Night
The rain kept many away from the first night of Walkersville’s Carnival last night. The rain forced the cancellation of many plans including Independence Day celebrations in Frederick and D.C. By 8:00 p.m., Rosedale Amusements closed the rides at Walkersville’s Carnival.
Monday was the first of three planned “Ride All Night for One Price” nights at the Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company’s Carnival. Many in the community pre-purchased their tickets at significant savings.
The Fire Company and Rosedale Amusements responded to the rain-out by adding Thursday night, July 7 as a “Ride All Night for One Price” night. The promotion will be offered from 6:00 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Carnival patrons may use their pre-sale tickets on Thursday.
For those who purchased a ride all night ticket Monday night or used their pre-sale ticket on Monday night, those tickets will be honored on Tuesday evening, July 5th, since the rides only ran until 8 p.m. on Monday.
Without a pre-sale ticket, the ride all night ticket will be $25 per person.
The Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company wrote to the community, “Thank you for your cooperation in this matter and we thank you for your continued support.”
