Rock Creek School, African Hair Braiding, and Lonza Driveway

The Town of Walkersville announced that this meeting has been postponed to October 8, 2019 due to a lack of quorum.

Planning Commission member Ray Santullo was called away for the birth of a grandchild. Several other members of the commission already had scheduling conflicts.

The Walkersville Planning Commission will hold it’s monthly public hearing on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall.

Lonza, a biotech and pharmacological company on Biggs Ford Road, will seek approval for an expansion of it’s driveway to loop around it’s facilities. Plans include more parking.

An African Hair Braiding service submitted an application for approval to operate in a portion of the old T.R. Saylor hardware store on Main Street.

Frederick County Public Schools submitted it’s site improvement plans for the building of a new Rock Creek School behind Walkersville Middle School on West Frederick Street.

Meetings are open to the public.
