Drug Arrest Outside of Woodsboro
On Tuesday, December 16, 2014, Frederick County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Michael Anthony Faya, a twenty-five year old of Walkersville, on charges of possession with intent to distribute controlled dangerous substance (CDS) and possession of paraphernalia.
At approximately 3:25 a.m., deputies responded to the area of Links Bridge Rd at the Monocacy River for a report of a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was found parked along the road with the parking lights illuminated. Deputy First Class Zachary Levine made contact with the driver and a passenger, identified as Faya. Through the initial investigation, it was determined Faya was in possession of approximately 30 grams of marijuana, and paraphernalia for packaging smaller amounts of marijuana.
Faya was transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center’s Central Booking Unit for processing.
