Controlled Dangerous Substance Arrests

georgiampooleOn April 7, 2016, the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office arrested Georgia M. Poole, age 19 of Walkersville, Maryland. Poole was charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance-Not Marijuana.

At approximately 12:11 a.m., a deputy with the Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop on Crestwood Boulevard and Ballenger Creek Pike for inoperable rear tag lights. During the course of the traffic stop, a Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit arrived on the scene and conducted a scan of the vehicle.

Prior to searching Poole, she removed three plastic bags that were secreted on her body and placed them on the deputy’s vehicle. One of the bags contained suspected heroin, and a separate bag contained suspected cocaine. The third bag contained paraphernalia.

The contraband was seized as evidence and placed on property with the Sheriff’s Office. Poole was arrested and transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center’s Central Booking Unit for processing.

This is the second arrest for Poole in the past three months. On January 19, 2016, Poole was charged by Maryland State Police with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance-Not Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia.

michelledavisA separate traffic stop led to the arrest of Michelle J. Davis, age 26 of Petersburg, WV. Davis was charged with three counts of Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance-Not Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia, three counts of Reckless Endangerment, Driving without a License, and Driving on a suspended license.

 

At approximately 11:29 p.m., a deputy initiated a traffic stop on Interstate 70 at Quinn Road after he observed Michelle J. Davis’ vehicle swerve, change lanes erratically, and drive on the shoulder of the highway. The deputy noticed a small child lying on a pile of trash on the front passenger side floorboard, and two small children unbelted in the back of the vehicle. Davis was placed under arrest for driving without a license.

During a search of the vehicle, deputies located six small plastic bags containing suspected crack cocaine, four Oxycodone pills, and 15 MDMA based pills. Additionally, a cigarette box containing suspected marijuana was found lying on one of the small children.

The contraband was seized as evidence and placed on property with the Sheriff’s Office. Davis was arrested and transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center’s Central Booking Unit for processing.
