On Saturday June 8th, Maryland State Police Troopers from the Frederick Barrack and the Walkersville Resident Trooper Program conducted the second of four Community Medication Disposal Events at the Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company #11. This event was held with the cooperation and support of Frederick County Health Department and the Frederick County (MD) Fire & Rescue.

As a result, the Narcotics Investigation Section initiated a criminal drug distribution investigation. On June 12th, 2019, a detective with the narcotics section obtained information that this individual traveled to Baltimore to purchase heroin.
