At 1:13 p.m. on June 21, 2015, Walkersville Volunteer Rescue and Fire Companies were dispatched to the area of 9294 Water Street Road in Walkersville for a vehicle accident with rollover. RS-24 arrived on the scene, confirmed dispatch, and established command. RS24 advised that one vehicle sat in the roadway on it’s side, and that all patients were out of the vehicle. Fall From Horse Flown to Shock Trauma

At 9:26 a.m. on June 19, 2015, Walkersville Volunteer Rescue Company was dispatched to the 8700 block of Liberty Road for an injured person who had fallen off a horse. Duty 24 requested the status of Trooper 3, and Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched also. Units arrived on scene and started patient care. Crews quickly requested Trooper 3. B116 arrived on scene to establish a landing zone. One patient was flown to shock trauma.

In the early morning of June 9, 2015, Walkersville Volunteer Rescue Company (Co.24) and Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company (Co.11) were dispatched to U.S. 15 and Sundays Lane for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. D11 arrived on scene and advised Frederick County Emergency Communications Center (ECC) that the accident was found to be at U.S. 15 and Hansonville Road. High Speed Chase

Police were in a high speed pursuit through Walkersville and the surrounding area Friday night. The pursuit blasted through Old Town Walkersville on Pennsylvania Avenue up Biggs Ford. The driver took Fountain Rock Road to MD 194 and MD 26. Once in Frederick, he took 15 North to Old Frederick Road. He continued through Creagerstown and toward Thurmont. Trooper 3 provided air support to pursue the driver. The driver called 911 in both Frederick and Carroll Counties claiming to be suicidal. He threatened to crash his car while in communication…
