Last Night of the Carnival

After last night’s amazing crowds and fireworks display, volunteers are preparing for the final night of the Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company’s Carnival. The rain held off for last night’s festivities. Overnight and this morning, the area received a healthy dose of rain. All hopes are for a dry afternoon and evening for this last night of fun! Fireworks in Walkersville Tonight

Last night, The Reagan Years and a Ride-All-Night Special drew a very large crowd to the Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company’s Carnival. Tonight, the Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company’s Carnival will feature all the wonderful food, games, and rides you expect tonight. The highlight, however, will come around 10:00 p.m. when the Fire Company hosts a celebration of Independence Day with its always wonderful fireworks display. Reagan Years and Last Ride All Night Special

The Reagan Years will entertain crowds at the Walkersville Carnival tonight. The popular band always draws a large crowd and puts on a great show. Tonight’s All-You-Can-Eat Buffet will feature Fried Chicken, Ham, & Roast Turkey. The buffet is served in the air-conditioned and handicapped accessible fire hall from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Tonight will also be the last Ride-All-Night Wristband Special from 6:00 – 10:30 p.m. Another $300 Raffle Drawing will be held on the grounds. Storms Fail to Dampen Carnival and Parade

Last night’s rain failed to dampen the Hometown Parade and Carnival activities in Walkersville! Though an accident on MD 194 delayed the parade, everyone enjoyed the parade filled with emergency equipment, community groups, businesses, and horses! Folks along the parade route collected candy, got squirted by the Kaleidoscope 4-H Club’s pool float, and cheered on the bands and dance troupes. Afterward, City Slickers Band took to the stage and entertained the crowds with a variety of music as they rode rides, played games, and dined on the many food choices!…

Walkersville Carnival In Full Swing – Parade Tonight

The Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company will be hosting a hometown parade tonight beginning at 6:30 p.m. The parade kicks-off the second night of this year’s Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company’s carnival. Last night saw a nice crowd for the Ride All Night special. One hiccup occurred when a generator went off-line briefly.Rides including the ferris wheel and “Cliff Hanger” lost power with riders on the equipment.
