WHS Fundraisers in November

Walkersville High School’s Safe and Sound Committee will be conducting their Fall “Black Friday” raffle. Tickets will be mailed to parents of WHS students. Prizes are $100 gift cards to Kohl’s, Walmart, JC Penney, Target, and Dick’s Sporting Goods. Parents are asked to sell the $3.00 raffle tickets and return the ticket and money to the Safe and Sound mailbox in the main office of WHS or mail to WHS Safe and Sound, P.O. WHS Safe and Sound has their ongoing Glory Days Fundraiser continuing until April 1, 2015. Please save your receipts and turn them in to the WHS Safe and Sound mailbox so Glory Days can contribute a percentage of the total receipts to our Safe and Sound Graduation Party.

WHS Band is conducting their monthly sub sales. Orders can be taken from 11/5/14 to 11/25/14 with delivery date of 12/2/14. Questions may be directed to Windy Schmidt at Windy.Schmidt@fcps.org.

WHS Key Club – Sponsoring the Trick or Treat for Unicef until 11/17/14. Student members of Key Club will collect spare change from family members and students to deposit in the collection box in Mrs. Carbone’s classroom. Questions about this fundraiser may be directed toErica Carbone@fcps.org.

WHS Band Boosters will have a “Dine Out Night” at Elevation Burger 11/4/14 and will receive 20% of the profits from 11:00 am – 10:00 pm. Questions may be directed toWindy.Schmidt@fcps.org

WHS FFA sells Jack Links Jerky after school in the senior cafeteria for $2 per stick from October thru May. Profits will benefit the WHS FFA. Questions regarding this fundraiser may be directed to Gregory.Stull@fcps.org.
