Election Night Ends – Unofficial Results

Local, Award-Winning Country Music from Mike Kuster

With 82 of 85 precincts reporting, the Frederick County Board of Elections released these unofficial results of races:

County Executive

Jan Gardner defeats Blaine Young with 54% of the vote.

County Council at Large

Bud Otis (27.5%) and Billy Shreve (24.8%) tentaviley hold the lead over Susan Reeder Jessee (24.1%) and Linda Marie Norris (23.6%). These races remain close enough to be changed by results that have not been counted.

County Council – District 5

Kirby Delauter defeats Mark Long with 54.8% of the vote.

Sheriff

Chuck Jenkins defeats Karl Bickel with 63% of the vote.

Judge of the Circuit Court

Scott Rolle holds a tentative lead over Judge Danny O’Connor with 51.2% of the vote.

State’s Attorney

Charlie Smith won re-election with 62.7% of the vote over Teresa Rivera Bean.

Clerk of the Circuit Court

Sandra Dalton easily won re-election with 66.2% of the vote over Lisa Munyan.

Register of Wills

Sharon Keller won election over Chad Weddle with 64% of the vote.

Board of Education

Liz Barrett (15.5%), Brad Young (14.2%), and Colleen Cusimano (13.6%) currently hold the lead with Kenneth Kerr and April Fleming statistically tied with 12.9% of the vote for the fourth open seat.
