Walkersville High School Fall Athletic Events
Get ready for some great sporting events at WHS!
All of the Walkersville High School teams have been preparing for their opening games and are excited to start the Fall Sport Season. The Glade Valley community always comes out to support their athletes. The student athletes participate in a variety of sports. Here’s a run-down of some upcoming events:
- Tuesday, September 2
- 4:00 p.m. – Golf: Varsity Match – Walkersville vs. Urbana at Glade Valley Golf Club
- Friday, September 5
- 7:00 p.m. – Football: Varsity Game – Walkersville vs. Boonsboro at Walkersville High School
- Saturday, September 6:
- Soccer: Girls Varsity Tournament – time and teams not announced
- 11:00 a.m. – Cross-Country: Varsity Invitational – Walkersville vs. Brunswick at Brunswick High School
- 12:00 p.m. – Soccer: Boys Varsity Tournament – Walkersville vs. Catoctin at Mount Saint Marys
- Monday, September 8:
- 4:00 p.m. – Field Hockey: Girls Varsity Game – Walkersville vs. Linganore at Walkersville High School
- 5:00 p.m. – Volleyball: Girls JV Game – Walkersville vs. Winters Mill at Winters Mill High School
- 5:30 p.m. – Field Hockey: Girls JV Game – Walkersville vs. Linganore at Walkersville High School
- 5:30 p.m. – Soccer: Boys JV Game – Walkersville vs. Brunswick at Brunswick High School
- 5:30 p.m. – Soccer: Girls JV Game – Walkersville vs. Manchester Valley at Walkersville High School
- 6:00 p.m. – Volleyball: Girls Varsity Game – Walkersville vs. Winters Mill at Winters Mill High School
- 7:00 p.m. – Soccer: Boys Varsity Game – Walkersville vs. Brunswick at Brunswick High School
- 7:00 p.m. – Soccer: Girls Varsity Game – Walkersville vs. Manchester Valley at Walkersville High School

As you make plans to attend stadium events please remember that:
- No backpacks are permitted
- No food or beverages can be taken into the stadium
- No sports equipment can be taken into the stadium
Ticket Prices for Frederick County Public School Athletic Events are:
- Adults – $5.00 per person
- Students – $2.00 per person
- SENIOR CITIZENS – FREE – no Sunshine Card is needed
Walkersville High School offers some special tickets which can be used exclusively at WHS athletic events only! Fall Family Season Pass costs $100 per family. Yearly Family Season Pass costs $200 per family.
