Snow Make-Up Days
Frederick County Public Schools announced snow make-up days for students. As of March 12, 2015, Frederick County Public School students have missed 8 days of school due to inclement weather. The calendar already allowed for 5. Last night, the Board of Education has decided how students will make up the 3 additional snow days.
Students will have school on April 1st, June 16th and June 17th. The 2-hour early dismissal orginally scheduled for June 15the will instead take place on June 17th which will now be the last day of school
April 2nd is a teacher work day; students do not attend school that day. Term 4 will begin on April 7.
If there are any additional snow days this school year, the calendar may change.
