October Fundraisers at WHS
WHS Safe & Sound – will have a dine in night at Chipotle 10/19/15. All proceeds benefit the after graduation party for seniors. When dining, you must show the flier. WHS Drama Boosters – will have a “Dine In” at Trout’s Towne Restaurant from 10/26/15 – 11/8/15. Trout’s will donate $1.00 for every omlet or dessert ordered during this time. For questions, please contact Erik Secula – 240-236-7331.
WHS Leadership Club – will conduct a food drive from 10/1/15 – 10/15/15 with all food going to the Walkersville Food Bank.
WHS Key Club – will sponsor a “Kids Helping Kids Funds and Food Drive” outside of the stadium 10/23/15 and 10/30/15. A table will be set up to collect canned food items to be donated to The Maryland State Food Bank.
WHS Volleyball – will be conducting a number of fundraising events at their home volleyball game 10/15/15 with donations going to the Hurwitz Breast Cancer Fund. They will also have a “Can you dig it” and Volley for a Cure.
WHS Key Club – will conduct a “Miracle Minute” during the Homecoming Football Game 10/23/15. Students will try to collect as much money as possible in 60 seconds to benefit the “Kids Helping Kids Funds and Food Drive”.
WHS Marching Band will be taking orders monthly for the delicious Schultz’s subs. The order for October must be turned in by 10/7/15 and delivery date is 10/13/15. For more details or to place an order please contact Tiffany.Claiborne@fcps.org.
