MVA at Rt.15(NB) & Willow Rd.
At 9:38 a.m. on February 21, 2017, Frederick County Emergency Communications Center dispatched Walkersville Volunteer Rescue Company and Junior Fire and Rescue Company to respond to reports of a vehicle collision on northbound U.S. 15 at Willow Road.
Engine 23 arrived on the scene and found multiple cars involved in a collision or mulitiple collisions with a dump truck. An officer on Engine 23 reported multiple patients and requested additional ambulances. With a total of six patients, the officer established U.S. 15 command.
Engine 502 arrived on the scene and assisted with patient care.
Rescue Squad 24 arrived on the scene to assist with patient care and traffic control.
A total of five patients were transported to Frederick Memorial Hospital and command was terminated.
