MVA in the 8100 Block of Woodsboro Pike
Walkersville Volunteer Rescue Company Reports:
Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company dispatched to a call in the 8100 block of Woodsboro Pike for wires down after a vehicle accident at 11:16 p.m. on April 4, 2015. Engine 111 responded.
While the fire company was en-route, Frederick Emergency Communications Center dispatched Walkersville Volunteer Rescue Company to the call for an injured person from a vehicle accident.
Engine 111 arrived to find an overturned vehicle in a ditch with 2 light poles down and a single patient out of the vehicle.
Ambulance 248 and Cheif 24 of the Walkersville Volunteer Rescue Company arrived on scene and began patient assessment. The patient was evaluated and refused to be transported.
Engine 111 and Ambulance 248 were cleared. The scene was turned back over to Maryland State Police.
