Friends of the Walkersville Library – Upcoming Meeting
Friends of the Walkersville Library will hold its only meeting of the summer on Monday, June 16th at 6:00 p.m. in the Walkersville Library. All are welcome to attend and help this great organization.
Friends of the Walkersville Library, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing library services through fundraising and advocacy efforts. The Friends raise awareness and help garner support for activities not normally covered under the library’s operating budget.
Through fundraising activities and tax-deductible private contributions and membership dues, Friends help support a variety of wonderful programs such as the Children’s Summer Reading Program. Membership support helps make the Walkersville Public Library a special place in the community.
