The Frederick County Council will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. in the first floor hearing room of Winchester Hall, 12 East Church Street, Frederick, Maryland, to receive public testimony on the recently adopted 22 amendments to the Monocacy Scenic River Citizens Advisory Board’s 2017 Recommended Monocacy River Management Plan.
Individuals will be given an opportunity to be heard at this public hearing, and comments will be limited to three minutes per speaker
President MC Keegan-Ayer stated, “The County Council was not required to conduct a public hearing on the amendments adopted by the Council on Tuesday, April 2nd, but in the spirit of an open and transparent process, the Council wanted to provide the opportunity for the public to express their thoughts.”
