Collision at MD 194 & MD 26
At 5:32 p.m. on November 19, 2015, units from Walkersville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Companies were dispatched for a vehicle collision at MD 194 and MD 26.
Chief 24 arrived on the scene to find a two vehicle collision with one patient still in each of the cars, and both cars still in the roadway.
Ambulance 247 arrived on the scene to start patient care.
Engine 111 arrived on the scene to block traffic, checked for leaking fluids, and stabilized one of the vehicles.
Ambulance 249 arrived on the scene and started patient care for the second patient.
Rescue Squad 24 arrived on the scene to assist with patient care and blocking traffic.
Both patients were transported to Frederick Memorial Hospital. Units went in service as ready.
