There will be a Community Meeting this Wednesday to discuss the proposed Biggs Ford Solar Center. The meeting will be held at the Walkersville Library at 6 p.m. The property consists of 151 acres at the corner of Dublin Road and Biggs Ford Road. The address is 8300 Biggs Ford Road. A trust listing former Walkersville Burgess Ralph Whitmore as the trustee owns the farm. Town of Walkersville Seeking Election Judges

The Town of Walkersville will appoint its Election Judges at the May 23, 2018 Town Meeting. Five judges and two alternates will be appointed to serve at the Monday, September 10, 2018 election. Polls open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. Any eligible citizen interested in being appointed is asked to submit a letter of interest by Friday, May 18, 2018, 4:30 p.m. to the Town office at 21 West Frederick Street, P.O.
