Roger (Sam) A. Eyler, Jr., 82, of Walkersville, Maryland, passed away peacefully in the company of his loving wife, Shirley on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Glade Valley Nursing & Rehab in Walkersville, MD. Born on September 25, 1936, in Walkersville, MD, he was the son of the late Roger Eyler, Sr. and Erline (Keeney) Eyler. Walkersville High School Parking Lot Upgrades

The parking lot at Walkersville High School is being paved and new campus lighting is being installed this summer.  As such, traffic will not be able to access the facility between Monday, June 24 and August 23, 2019 (anticipated time of substantial completion).  The building will continue to be open this summer, but visitors will need to park at Walkersville Elementary School and use the sidewalk access to the building. All scheduled athletic workout sessions, site-based summer school and pre-scheduled events at Walkersville High School will proceed as planned.
