Since moving to Walkersville, Mike and Emily's three children were born and attend local public schools. Mike also owns Digital Age Solution, an I.T. firm offering Managed Services, Computer Repairs & Sales, Voice Over IP Telephone Service, Networking, and Software Engineering. Mike actively participates in the community in various roles including: Walkersville Planning & Zoning Commission Member, Kaleidoscope 4-H Club Leader, Friends of Walkervsille Library, Vice-President, Frederick County 4-H Camp & Activities Center, Inc. Parkside Developers Hope to Retain Existing Farm House

At last night’s meeting of the Walkersville Planning Commission, Mr. Tom Poss asked for permission to make a change to the proposed Parkside Development along Biggs Ford Road. The property which has been a small farm with cattle and crops will be transformed into a development of more than twenty single-family homes. The change sought, however, will retain the existing farm house and an existing shed if the house can be saved without too much trouble. Walkersville High Key Club Honored

This past weekend, ten amazing young women from Walkersville High School along with their club advisor, Erica Carbone, attended the Capital District Key Club Convention in Baltimore, Maryland. Over fifteen-hundred students from Key Clubs in Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and the District of Columbia attended the event learning about service and leadership in our home, school, and community.
