Since moving to Walkersville, Mike and Emily's three children were born and attend local public schools. Mike also owns Digital Age Solution, an I.T. firm offering Managed Services, Computer Repairs & Sales, Voice Over IP Telephone Service, Networking, and Software Engineering. Mike actively participates in the community in various roles including: Walkersville Planning & Zoning Commission Member, Kaleidoscope 4-H Club Leader, Friends of Walkervsille Library, Vice-President, Frederick County 4-H Camp & Activities Center, Inc. Board Member, Federated Charities, and more.

Mill Run Development Moving Dirt

The developers of Mill Run, a planned development on West Pennsylvania Avenue in Walkersville, began the early stages of their project last week. Large equipment moved earth and crews blasted large stone. The entrance and future road to the neighborhood of twenty-six new single-family homes became apparent after a short few days. The property entrance lies between the home of the Quinn Family and the railroad station. Carnival Adds “Ride All Night for One Price” Night

The rain kept many away from the first night of Walkersville’s Carnival last night. The rain forced the cancellation of many plans including Independence Day celebrations in Frederick and D.C. By 8:00 p.m., Rosedale Amusements closed the rides at Walkersville’s Carnival. Monday was the first of three planned “Ride All Night for One Price” nights at the Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company’s Carnival.
