The Town of Walkersville Economic Development Commission (EDC) has an opening for a new member.  The spot had been held by the owner of Ginger & Spice which closed its store on Pennsylvania Avenue in town last year. Glade Elementary School’s PTA Web Site

Glade Elementary School’s Parent Teacher Association has launched a web site to keep the school community informed and involved.  The site, gladepta.org, provides a calendar, meeting agendas and minutes, links to the school’s web site and information, newsletters, volunteer opportunities, and fundraising information. Glade Elementary School Principal Lorcán ÓhEithir encouraged parents to access the site.  He noted that the school’s web site will continue to be updated.  He invites parents to suggest what they would like to see on the school’s web site.  Mr. ÓhEithir became the school’s principal over the summer.…
