Economic Development Commission Opening
The Town of Walkersville Economic Development Commission (EDC) has an opening for a new member. The spot had been held by the owner of Ginger & Spice which closed its store on Pennsylvania Avenue in town last year.
The mission of the EDC is to promote business, economic development, services, and working within the Town of Walkersville. The potential member must have a business or economic interest in the Town of Walkersville. Chapter 53 of the Walkersville Town Code can be found online at www.WalkersvilleMD.gov or requested at 301-845-4500.
Letters of interest will be accepted until 9/18/2014, 4:30 PM, at the Town Hall, 21 West Frederick Street, PO Box 249, Walkersville, MD 21793.
