Another Collision at MD 194 and Deer Run Drive
Walkersville Volunteer Rescue Company Reports:
Just over an hour after responding to a collision at the same intersection, Walkersville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Companies’ units dispatched at 09:52 a.m. on December 10, 2015 a vehicle collision at MD 194 and Deer Run Drive.
Engine Tanker 114 arrived on the scene to find a two vehicle collision. Both patients were still in both cars and still in the roadway, blocking traffic.
Ambulance 247 arrived on the scene to start patient care.
The crew from Engine Tanker 114 went to work checking for leaking fluids.
Rescue Squad 24 arrived on scene to assist with blocking traffic.
One patient was transported to Frederick Memorial Hospital. Units went in service as ready.
